PUZZLING!

Two friends and I were conversing and a puzzler came up. We thought and thought and reasoned and reasoned and mused and mused and then, we gave up and decided to ask married people...

WHERE DO WEDDING GOWNS GO AFTER THE D-DAY?

We ladies love to look good and we almost sacrifice everything for the sake of vanity.
P/S: I'm not calling wedding gowns vanity but...

Before I digress, lemme go straight to wedding point oh.
After marriage, where does the wedding gown go? A lot is spent on preparing for a wedding and more often than not, about of a quarter of wedding expenses is taken by purchasing a wedding gown.

Of course I can wrap my head around where the hired gowns go. But the gowns bought for this one day event, this 6 hours event... what happens to it? Some chics even have two wedding gowns bought!!! Like sshheeriously?
For a dress so expensive, if I have to buy the gown, heck amma wear it for other events after the wedding (**covers face in shame** stingy poor non-fashionista)

While pondering on this great quagmire with two equally great minds like mine (- one cool Saturday afternoon after 3 beautiful weddings), we came up with few theories.
Our theories were

1- Kept as a reminder to what they losing out on
2- Sold
3- Used for hire business (that’s just weird)
4- Kept for their daughters (now that's ... I dunno. Grateful my mum hired hers)
5- They wanna ermm ermm in the gown and keep as a memento

That’s all we could come up with sha. We are yet to ask the married ones what they did with theirs though. Such questions generate more questions. Questions I'm not ready to answer in a rush
Lemme hastily clear the air here: I'm not saying I won’t buy a gown (if my hand is twisted and the dude insists and my hands are twisted again and Vera Wang insists and my hand is twisted and I hear it crack and Alexander McQueen orders me to), of course I would.
We are still puzzled... a little help here???

  2. ℓ☺ℓ I think most are kept for memory sake, others hired.

Back then,I used to hear, people keep the wedding gowns so they would be buried in it. *ope your mouth isn't open**and don't ask me how they will fit into it*
